___The clear gentle waters of the beach were the same, like any other day. The morning sunrise was still beautiful and the heat was tolerable. The bioluminescent gender-swapper was at ease with the current steady streaks of no fights, no threats, and lots of quiet peacefulness.
“Hey, how about we do some surfing today?” said a voice that was of a male’s but very unfamiliar to Aziel.

She didn’t bother to look around the beach, nor did she go towards the distant voice. The young Tibumeru simply went back to her little home, changed to her usual swimsuit attire, one that she wore when she wanted to go diving; and returned to the beach several minutes later. The beach was still deserted, just like how Aziel found it months ago.

She had heard from Janik that she and her friends will be off doing some activities, so Aziel knew not to find and bother her leader. The light blue glow that emanated from her dimmed a bit as she walked along the shore. She had one of her few rare moments in which she let all of her guard down and just let the silence seep in.
She thought for a while.
She wasn’t sure on what to do for the day.
She began to walk across the shoreline, her arms stretched out on both sides of her, parallel they were; like a tightrope walker she occupied her own time for a few short minutes.

“Should I go into town today?” she would ask herself out loud.  “No… seems too foreign in that forest of stone and metal.”

Eventually the girl walked out into the water.
It was cool yet warm; moderate temperature, which was great for swimming in.
So she thought, at least.

Aziel’s tail flicked back and forth, much like a cat as the water’s level rose up against her body.
From her hips to her waist, then to her chest, up to her shoulders, and then eventually, creeping ever so slowly, up over her head. The water assisted in making this fish feel free in the water; helping her become gentle, agile, care free, even… happier.
Strangely enough.

She had dove for what seemed to be hours, which in actuality was only one hour. Mentally, this tactician crossed out a list of names of the Tibumeru she had gotten to meet.
“I already met and played with Dart today; the little sweetheart must be tired.”
She looked around and noticed some ship pieces, “Caspian must be off somewhere else, probably with Eir. Maybe even collecting more fish hooks.” She softly giggled at the mental image of her room mate scaring fisherman for their hooks.

Sighing heavily, she shook her head gently and just began to wander. It wasn’t very far from the shore, but it was in a different direction from north. It was more of a Northeast direction, venturing into cooler water that was a good distance away from her home. She made nothing of the shift, simply crossed out the worry with the reason of it being a different body of water merging with the smaller body of water closest to the beach.
“I… I don’t think I’ve been here before.” The glow of her light blue head fins became dimmer and dimmer as she slowed down. She paused a bit unsure as she stood on top of an underwater rock formation. Aziel was practically a glowing target for anything to come and find her, she had tried her best to subdue the genetically-obtained glowing.

Hours slowly crept by as this glowing, tactician, ex-pirate began raiding wrecked ships. This act, or hobby, was something she could not leave behind from her first life. Of course she continued on. Wiggling her fins once more, she stopped and clung to the small, round, spherical gems she oh so carefully plucked out amongst the useless, human debris. The girl’s light blue eyes widened and shifted from left to right.
Quickly she turned around.
Nothing.
No one was there.
The eerie feeling in this part of the sea began to get to her. She didn’t like it. Its cold water and harsh streams of random current reminded her of her last life’s ending at the bottom of the sea. Thinking on her toes Aziel quickly rummaged around the darkness for a box to place her treasures in. As fast as her multi-colored tail could propel her, she did her best to go back to regular sea level.

“Oh, well look at this find.” A fang-filled, white-ish smile emerged from an adjacent wreck's shadow. This shark was a scout with the authority to attack. He was a member of Yeheil’s group.

Even though Aziel’s expression remained blank, her normal facial expression, she was internally unsteady. From time to time she would have to stop for a pause. She had grown tired recently, she deducted it was because of the more frequent diving and hasty escapes from some of her adventures.
She took a deep inhale and a long exhale; her light blue hues brightening and then dimmed as she did so.
She stood on another tall rock formation, taking a seat this time. She attempted to relax but she couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched.

“It’s like things are happening all over again…” her voice was low when she spoke. Gently she rubbed her left side of her head, where an old scar resided; she couldn’t remember anything well but it felt like it hurt from time to time.
The scars... They felt like they were burning with every recovered memory.

“Well, well. Care to explain why you’re this far out from land?” He didn’t smile nor did he smirk. It was as if he was detecting any fear or uncertainty, which she did her best to hide as she glanced to her left.

“I have no business with you, and nor do you have any with me.” She began to develop a more educated type of response. In a way it reminded her of Ray. Secretly Aziel liked Ray, so he was more tolerable and in fact, she’s rather be above shore with her leader and the others who got invited to their little get together, than be down here.

“Tch. You’re in our territory. Leave before I hurt you. Believe that I will hurt you if you don’t go.” He stared at her, stared back to her with his cold, dead eyes. They were a pair of eyes that seemed to be made to install fear into its opponent.

“I don’t think so. I’ll go as I please. The sea doesn’t belong to one group, it belongs to all fish.” Slowly she got up. He seemed like a shark that would attack with any sudden, quick movements. Backing off the rock on which she sat, she slowly swam back, her tail moving all so rigidly, her movements unsure.
It wasn’t as if she were her guy self, Aviel.
That side of her, him, would be tactical but more on an offensive approach instead of defensive.
He would have lived that night she was pushed off the deck.
He would be great for war. He would adapt well in this second life.

Before she could process her situation, the box full of treasures, most importantly round gems that she would give to those important to her, were tumbling down the rocks into the murky depths of the sea’s. Has she collide down into another structure, the sounds of the box breaking and hard gems clinging could be heard as they fell; and she fell in a downward angle with them.
“One last chance. Leave.” His voice was sterner, completely serious. He approached her much like a shark would approach its prey.

Her inhalation was broken; she collided awkwardly on the rock pillars. They were placed perfectly in the sense that they crashed against her old scar; which was on her lower right of her back.
She refused to respond; she stared in the direction of the lost gems and stopped herself from diving after them.
She thought for a few minutes, this made the Bull shark angrier. Angry enough to force him to wrap his hand round Aziel’s throat and squeeze it.
She screeched rather loudly, another rare moment for Aziel. Could you blame? Her precious necklace, the beads on them, were being forced into her gills.
Quickly she dug her fingers into his gills.
She pushed her fingers into his neck, curling them to tear into his putrid smelling flesh.
He flung her as he felt the slight shock from her fingertips; one of Aziel’s many defensive tactics.
It was unfortunately unaffecive.

Crashing through the water's surface she gasped and paddled her way to the shore. With blurry vision, she looked to the sand, something was wrong. Another awful smell crashed against her senses, but before she could search around analyzing the area to evaluate things, she was dragged back down.
“Let go, miscreant!”
“Miscreant? So, girly thinks she’s better than the rest of us?  Books won’t do you much help now.”

The bull shark’s nails were abnormally grown and sharpened; they were more along the lines of misshapen extensions to his fingers.
They bore into Aziel’s tail, something that she found important to her persona.
They sank, and sank fast.
The male’s anger seemed to grow as lavender-blood tainted water passed through his gills.
She was going to leave, honestly she was. Yet, this time creating a mental picture of this strange Tibumeru was her downfall. All for being a good member of a group, to report back to her leader, caused her to get into her first fight after so many years.

Attempting to fight back was rather sad to watch. Aziel wasn’t weak, but ill-trained. She took the hits and she took the cuts and the pain that associated with them.
From above she heard muffled talk.
Someone yelling.
Splashing from not too far.
The water was quickly rippled, bubbles were formed from swift movements.
Something was wrong...

“Keep your eyes on me, girl. Let me absorb the fear in your face.” He smirked as if to say ‘I’m winning, and you’ll die soon’.
She narrowed her eyes and groaned in annoyance. She began to fight, perhaps for her life, something she really truly didn't do before.
She would jab her nails into his flesh, keeping her extra fish additions close to her body; her lures, fins, and the additions on her tail.

Unknown to her, when she knew she would die, facing a foe, she fought dirty.
A rebel characteristic, maybe?

Throwing punches.
From both opponents; thankfully for Aziel, she was good at dodging and blocking certain attacks.
She aimed for his bleeding gills. She thought that the fact that they were bleeding would slow this shark down. He kept his speed, but the strength seem to decrease as the water around them turned from a blue to a dark violet,
“Give up already. I was going to leave before you attacked me!” She screeched out as he pushed the bioluminescent girl into a higher rock formation.
Built up anger from years long ago seem to force the girl to power through this unwanted interaction. She just wanted to resurface and see what the unknown members were yelling and panicking about.

She wanted to help those Tibumeru, help her troubled people.
This guy, she just wanted to rid of him already. He senselessly attacked and pursued a fight for no reason.
Perhaps these thoughts were a portion of Envisionist seeping out of Aziel.

Struggling, grunting, and hitting were exchanged between the two.
He was bleeding out, she was just tired of this all.
Swiftly she swung her hands back into his gills, making them seem like hooks; grabbing onto flesh, pulling, and ripping outwards.
Tearing away at the area was the first Tibumeru kill act that she had ever did. Or that she could even consider her first, due to selective memory screwing up everything she once knew.

Blood, blood every where.
Such a lovely lavender-hue dyed the beautiful blue ocean water.
Such a lovely color meant death or the possibility of death… she didn’t like this simple fact.

This blood smelled, he reeked, even when he was dying.
Aziel’s expression was first satisfaction until she looked down at the handful of Tibumeru meat.
Quickly she dropped the two clumps and swam back up to the surface.

Aziel began to quickly breathe, paddling and propelling herself to shore with the use of her scratched up tail.
The beaded necklace pressed against her gills, that were located on her neck, yet the girl could careless.
She was upset before even reaching the sand.
“Where did everyone go..?” She loosened the wrapping of her necklace and looked over the sand, confused.
“J-Janik? ….R-Ray?”
These were the only two names she knew, the only two people that she knew would be here.
Her slight glow extinguished. The color that represented the gender-swapper turned to a pale blue, as if her very life source was put out like a flame.

Blood.
Lavender liquid dyed sand, hers was dripping against the alabaster, white sand.
Foot prints, several pairs of them went from the shore to the dry sand, and disappeared from sight quickly after that point.
Confusion settled into this Seafarer’s mind, taking the place of exhaustion and panic.
She herself was bleeding, but nothing severe like the one who was taken away by the group.

“What… just happened…?”
:icontibumeru:
This was rather interesting to write.
I didn't want to use anyone's Tibumeru baby, so I only mentioned them.

Edit:I read through the submission and fixed an errors, hope it's better now~

I got: "You run into a member of Yeheil's group, you win the fight, and you're not badly injured."

The Bull shark Tibumeru was just on the spot, I wasn't sure who her opponent should have been.... OTL;

I'm proud of my Aziel fighting her first fight, without being Aviel, in her second life and winning it.
;w;

I'm also glad Momma Janik is somewhat alright, and that Aziel's secret crush Ray was being somewhat helpful. Lol.
